Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur side were beaten 7-2 by Bayern Munich last night.

Ndombele was taken off for Tottenham as the Lilywhites searched for an equaliser, with Christian Eriksen coming on.
From that point onwards Spurs struggled to defend, as Ndombele had previously been one of their best performers on the night.
The Frenchman had offered Tottenham some steel in front of their defence, and his passing range had also caught the eye.
And Ferdinand claims that the only explanation Mauricio Pochettino has over taking Ndombele off is if he picked up a knock.
“He must be injured. He was the one who was probing,” the former Manchester United defender said. “There was other players on the pitch who could have come off. Dele could have been a straight swap.”
As yet there has been no confirmation that Ndombele did pick up a knock.

Tottenham will certainly be hoping that their summer signing isn’t injured, as he has already missed a chunk of this season with fitness problems.
Spurs were beaten 7-2 last night, with three of Bayern’s goals arriving when Ndombele was off the pitch.
Spurs have now failed to win either of their first two Champions League games, which makes their task of qualifying more difficult.
