Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane didn’t even score against Manchester United, but he was still in brilliant form.

Rio Ferdinand has told BT Sport that he thought Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane bullied Manchester United last night.

Tottenham picked up a 2-0 victory over United at Wembley last night, and they were completely dominant in their display.

Kane may not have got on the scoresheet, but the Spurs number nine still showed how much quality he possesses.

The England captain’s link-up play and work-rate caught the eye, and Ferdinand was full of praise for the Spurs man after the contest.

He said: “He bullied Manchester United’s centre-backs today. Totally dominated them. The contrast between him and Lukaku was so evident. That’s a real number nine.”

Tottenham’s win over United was hugely important, as it propelled them right back into the race for the top four.

Spurs had fallen five points behind the Champions League chasers, but they are now putting fourth placed Chelsea under a lot of pressure.

Spurs’ performance against United was one of their very best so far this campaign, as they totally took apart Jose Mourinho’s side.

Tottenham are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Liverpool at Anfield, in another match will be huge for their top four hopes.
