Rio Ferdinand believes there is no better striker on the planet than Tottenham Hotspur and England hit man Harry Kane.

The 24-year-old hit his sixth goal of the World Cup finals on Tuesday against Colombia via a penalty, putting him in a great position to land the tournament’s golden boot. His nearest challenger is Premier League rival Romelu Lukaku, who is two behind.
Every Love Island contestant if they were an England international – World Cup!
Kane put in arguably his best performance of the tournament so far against Colombia, displaying impressive link-up play as well as nerves of steel to score from the spot, and TV pundit Ferdinand believes the striker cannot be matched at the moment in terms of all-round forward play.

Speaking to Goal, the 81-capped former Three Lions international said: “Harry Kane is up there with the best strikers in the world right now, There are very few better as he has it all – he scores with his right foot, left foot and head. He is probably the most complete No. 9 out there.
“If he stays free of injury then he could be the one to break Alan [Shearer]’s record.”
Kane’s prowess in front of goal really is remarkable. Last season in the Premier League he hit a career best of 30 for Tottenham, despite missing a handful of games through injury, and was unlucky to finish behind Liverpool’s Mo Salah in the race for the golden boot.

To date, the Tottenham star has already scored 108 times in the English top flight, and many people believe his incredible rate will see him eventually surpass Shearer’s tally of 260.
