Tottenham Hotspur have a 1-0 lead to protect in the Champions League after beating Manchester City in the first-leg.

Tottenham picked up a shock 1-0 victory over Manchester City on Tuesday night, to leave them in a good position in qualify.
And even though Mauricio Pochettino’s side are still outsiders to progress to the next round, Ferdinand believes that Tottenham will complete the job.
The former Manchester United defender has also backed Liverpool, Juventus and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s men to reach the next round.
He said: “Liverpool, will go through. I think Spurs will go through after last night. Juventus will go through and my heart says Manchester United will go through.”

If Tottenham did knock out City it would be one of the most momentous victories in the London club’s recent history.

If Spurs can find a route to goal against City next Wednesday then Pep Guardiola’s men will need to score three times to qualify.
Tottenham have one game to play before they face City again, as they take on Huddersfield Town in the Premier League on Saturday.
