Manuel Pellegrini has been linked with a move to West Ham.

Former West Ham United defender Rio Ferdinand has told TalkSPORT that he believes Manuel Pellegrini would be an excellent replacement for David Moyes, if the Chilean is appointed in Moyes’ place.
Moyes was sacked by the Hammers board earlier this month, despite pushing the east Londoners to a decent 13th place in the Premier League table after taking over from Slaven Bilic with the club in the bottom three.
The former Manchester United boss was given a contract until the end of the season with the option of renewal, but the Hammers board decided not to offer him a new deal. Now, Pellegrini is leading the race to take over from Moyes.

Ferdinand, who turned out for the Hammers before joining Leeds United, reckons Pellegrini boasts all the right ingredients to take care of the big egos at the London Stadium.
“He’s got great pedigree,” Ferdinand said. “He’s been at big clubs, he’s managed big players and big personalities. He’s got the ingredients to take care of people in that sense.
“He’s got experience, but it’s whether he can do it at West Ham – it’s a different kettle of fish, it’s a different proposition there. It needs a strategy to be worked out at the club.”

Pellegrini has a strong Premier League reputation after wining the title with Manchester City. The former Villarreal boss is currently in charge of Chinese Super League side Hebei Chine Fortune, who boast Gervinho and Hernanes.
The Telegraph claimed on Sunday that Pellegrini had arrived in London for talks with the Hammers ahead of what could be a quick replacement in east London.
