Rio Ferdinand has praised Liverpool after their first ever Premier League title was confirmed last night.
Liverpool were crowned champions after Manchester City lost to Chelsea, with Jurgen Klopp’s side’s lead at the top of the table now unassailable.
Ferdinand had threatened to go off Twitter if Liverpool won the title earlier in the day.
But the former Manchester United man ended up giving the Reds lots of praise after their success was confirmed.
Liverpool received plenty of well wishes on social media last night.
And Rafael Benitez was quick to add his voice to the list of players and managers to congratulate the Reds.
Liverpool have absolutely dominated the Premier League this term, dropping points in just three games all season.
