Tottenham took the lead early on through Harry Kane, and they never looked back throughout the contest.
Heung-Min Son added a second with a fine finish soon after, and although Mohamed Salah did get one back for Liverpool, Spurs quickly asserted their authority once again.
Tottenham netted a third through Dele Alli, before Kane completed the scoring with a close-range finish.
Tottenham have now moved level on points with Manchester United in the Premier League standings, and they appear to be going from strength to strength.
Spurs are once again among the leading contenders to win he Premier League title, and Ferdinand and Hazard were full of praise for Pochettino’s men after the match.
