Rihanna and A$AP Rocky did not need a courtside ticket to join New York’s Knicks celebration this week.

The couple were not part of the reported Game 4 celebrity row at Madison Square Garden, but a circulating street clip put them right in the middle of the city’s basketball buzz.

Rihanna was seen taking shots on a Knicks-themed hoop while fans chanted “Let’s go RiRi.” Rocky stood nearby with a huge smile, supporting her as the sidewalk turned into another Knicks party.

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky join in on Knicks fever

Rocky has leaned into the run, recently saying he is a Knick, not just a Knicks fan.

His Harlem roots and visible support have made him one of the clearest celebrity faces of the team’s Finals push, and seeing Rihanna join the moment only added to the citywide feel.

The timing was perfect too. The Knicks had just beaten the Spurs 107-106 after erasing a 29-point deficit, the largest comeback in NBA Finals history.

Rihanna brings NBA Finals history with her

Rihanna’s basketball connection goes back years. She has been a familiar courtside presence at NBA games, often drawing attention through her support of LeBron James.

One of her most memorable moments came during the 2017 NBA Finals, when she appeared to heckle Kevin Durant from her courtside seat while backing the Cavaliers.

She has also been spotted at Lakers and Knicks games over the years, making this street-level Knicks moment feel like another entry in her long NBA history.

Rihanna moment follows legendary MSG celebrity row

Games 3 and 4 at MSG produced arguably one of the strongest celebrity rows in modern NBA history.

Donald Trump, Zohran Mamdani, Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, Jay-Z, Derek Jeter, Eli Manning, and Robert Kraft were part of the Game 3 spotlight.

Game 4 then brought Taylor Swift, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Adam Sandler, Larry David, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Jimmy Fallon, Fat Joe, Mariska Hargitay, and Michael J. Fox.

Rihanna and Rocky did not need to be inside the building to add to it. In New York this week, the Knicks’ Finals run has made every sidewalk feel like celebrity row.
