Some Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to give his reaction to speculation linking the club with Steven Fletcher.
Fletcher has left Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship and is available on a free in the summer transfer window.
Former Hibernian forward Tam McManus has claimed on Twitter that the 33-year-old striker is very keen on a move to the Glasgow giants.
Some Celtic fans have given their take on speculation that Fletcher wants to join Neil Lennon’s team.
Below are some of the best comments:
Steven Fletcher to Celtic?
Fletcher is not a very prolific striker, but the Scotland international is a good targetman who can score if played to his strengths.
The striker really has not played in teams at Sunderland or Sheffield Wednesday where scoring was easy, which perhaps explains why his record is not exactly great.
However, the striker could be a good squad player for Lennon and could give him a good option.
According to WhoScored, Fletcher scored 13 goals in the Championship this season, and scored 11 goals in the league in 2018-19.

Meanwhile, former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has praised the club for signing winger Mohamed Elyounoussi on loan from Southampton again, and believes that the Glasgow giants should not sell midfielder Olivier Ntcham.
Sutton wrote in The Daily Record: “Elyounoussi is a great one to get. It’s easy to forget the influence he had on the side for an impressive spell last season before injury basically finished his campaign by December.
“When he got his fitness up to top level he was dynamite at times. He has real football intelligence to come in off the side, can work in tight areas centrally and has energy.”
Sutton added: “Midfield is good so long as no one leaves. For example, it would be madness to sell Olivier Ntcham, despite the interest in him. He’s a valuable member of the set-up.”
