Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are lauding reported Jurgen Klopp target Jarrod Bowen after his performance for West Ham United on Sunday.

West Ham hammered 10-man Aston Villa last night and the Irons’ 24-year-old attacker had a big part in the win.

Even before Villa lost a man, Bowen was a constant threat and then scored himself to seal a wonderful win for David Moyes’s side.

The former Hull City star was heavily linked to Liverpool during the transfer window.

Even when the window closed, the links continued and Calciomercato reported in October that he was Klopp’s top transfer for January.

Here’s how some Liverpool fans reacted to his performance on Sunday evening.

Should he go?

In a word, nope.

If Bowen find himself with the chance to leave West Ham for Liverpool, he’d be nuts to accept it.

That’s because he’d be giving up being a big part of an exciting project under Moyes to be a squad player at Anfield.

Bowen is clearly a good player and one who will get a lot better but, let’s face it, he isn’t going to play all that much at Liverpool.

He isn’t better than Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota or Mohamed Salah and therefore you do have to question the English star if he does decide to leave East London.
