Tottenham Hotspur right-back Matt Doherty has suggested on Instagram that he does not plan to leave in the summer transfer window, with his Spurs teammate Dejan Kulusevski responding to his post.
Doherty, who has been playing as a right wing-back under Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte, is looking forward to the new season.
As you can see below, the 30-year-old Republic of Ireland international has posted a message on Instagram in which he is looking forward to the new campaign.
There has been speculation that Doherty is free to leave Tottenham this summer.
In July, talkSPORT reported that Doherty has been told that he is free to leave Spurs.

Winger Kulusevski, who joined Tottenham on loan from Juventus in January 2022, has responded positively to Doherty’s message.

Spurs stay
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur should keep Matt Doherty for this season, as head coach Antonio Conte needs options.
Now, Doherty is not exactly a world-class right wing-back, but he can do a job and has experience in the Premier League.
Remember, Tottenham will play in the UEFA Champions League as well this season, and there will also be cup competitions, so Conte does need a big squad.
