Richarlison has taken to Instagram for the first time since after move from Everton to Tottenham had been announced, posting a very heartfelt message to the Merseyside club having spent four years at Goodison Park.
The Brazil international, 25, has penned a five-year contract at Tottenham in a deal that could be worth as much as £60million. It comes after a brilliant spell with the Toffees, scoring 53 goals in 152 games for Everton.

Last season, he had a hand in 15 goals in 30 Premier League appearances – shining for Everton despite their poor 16th-placed finish. Everton had to sell in order to ease concerns regarding Financial Fairplay.
The likes of Dom Calvert-Lewin and Jordan Pickford has been linked with a summer exit, but Richarlison looks likely to be the major exit that helps Everton’s financial issues. He sent a heartfelt message to Everton fans.

Richarlison finally hands Tottenham the chance to provide Harry Kane competition. In recent history, Spurs have had Vincent Janssen, Fernando Llorente and Carlos Vinicius – all some way off the England skipper.
However, Richarlison is much closer to Kane in terms of quality. What makes sense in this move, is that Richarlison can also operate out wide. He is easily good enough to rival Dejan Kulusevski for the slot on the right flank.
Yes, Spurs have broken their club-record transfer fee to sign Richarlison – and he is an expensive signing. But it gives Tottenham a player that solves two issues – Kane competition, and a right winger.
