Richarlison has appeared to stick the boot into Liverpool following their Premier League heartbreak this afternoon.

The Reds will not be winning the quadruple this season after missing out on the title in dramatic fashion today.

With 15 minutes to go in Liverpool’s visit of Wolves and Aston Villa’s trip to Manchester City, it did look like Jurgen Klopp’s side might be winning the trophy.

Pep Guardiola’s side were losing 2-0 at home to the Villans and although the Anfield outfit were only drawing 1-1, there was plenty of time for a winner which would’ve been enough to give them the title.

A victory for Manchester City was always what was needed to secure the Premier League crown for the Sky Blues – and Guardiola’s men scored three times in the final 15 minutes to see off Villa and kill Liverpool’s quadruple hopes in the process.

It’s a funny old game, but also a cruel one and the Everton attacker – a £50 million signing in 2018 – has trolled his club’s Merseyside rivals on Twitter.

Shortly after the full-time whistle at the Etihad confirmed City as Premier League champions, the Brazilian posted this on social media:

The former Watford winger is a wind-up merchant and no doubt Liverpool supporters will be responding by pointing out that Richarlison was in a relegation battle for most of this season, and thus he can hardly poke fun at the fact they failed to win the title.

However, the South American clearly doesn’t care and is taking some pleasure in the Reds’ misery nevertheless.

Klopp’s side could, however, still win the treble.

The Merseysiders are in Paris next weekend for a Champions League final with Real Madrid and losing, well that’s something Richarlison would really find funny.
