The Toffees ace has scored 13 goals for the Premier League club this season.
Everton attacker Richarlison has stated that he plans to continue shooting on sight for the Toffees and disclosed how he practises taking shots on goal at the end of every training session alongside teammates Gylfi Sigurdsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The 21-year-old has fired 63 efforts at goal this term for Everton, while teammate Sigurdsson has had 69 shots, fewer than only eight Premier League players, according to the official Toffees website.
Richarlison is currently on Brazil duty, with his final game of the international break taking place against the Czech Republic in Prague on Tuesday night, before heading back to Merseyside ahead of Everton’s visit to West Ham United on Saturday.
The summer signing has scored twice in his past two club games, including in the victory over Chelsea nine days ago when he also won the penalty which Sigurdsson converted on the rebound to seal Everton’s victory.
In conversation with the Toffees website, Richarlison said of his shooting credentials: “I am always working on this in training. At the end of every session, me, Dominic and Gylfi spend 10 or 20 minutes practising our shooting. It is good for our confidence.
“And also because we know, sometimes in a match we can take a shot from distance that can decide the game. The manager wants us to be brave and always trying to score goals. Me and Gylfi have a friendly competition when we practise. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. It goes back and forth a little bit.”
Richarlison has made 32 appearances for Everton, scoring 13 goals and registering two assists, according to Transfermarkt, and will be eager to add to his tally over the coming seven games to help the Toffees up from their current 11th-placed spot in the Premier League table.
