Everton attacker Richarlison has told the Daily Mirror that he finds training at Goodison Park very ‘intense’.

Richarlison was brought to Everton from Watford in the summer, and his impact has shocked many.

The 21-year-old has hit six goals in his first 10 games for Everton, and even forced his way into the Brazil national squad.

And Richarlison feels that Marco Silva’s training sessions are helping him to improve.

“Training at Everton is intense,” he said. “There’s a lot of quality in the squad and a lot of detail in the sessions.

“It has helped me a lot – both to improve as a player and then in the games and matches with the national team. My confidence is growing, not just with the Brazilian team, but with Everton also.”

Richarlison’s brilliant form at Everton is made all the more impressive given that he is not even playing in his most comfortable position.

The youngster has been forced to play as a number nine, due to Everton’s failure to find a prolific scorer.

Richarlison is now regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in English football, and his value is sky-rocketing.

Richarlison will next be in action for Everton, when they take on Cardiff City at the weekend.
