Should Everton look at Burnley manager Sean Dyche as Ronald Koeman’s replacement?

Sean Dyche manager of Burnley gestures during the Premier League match between Chelsea and Burnley at Stamford Bridge on August 12, 2017 in London, England.

Well-known sports presenter Richard Keys has suggested on his website that he hopes that Burnley boss Sean Dyche gets the managerial job at Everton.

Everton are looking for a new manager following the dismissal of Ronald Koeman following a disappointing start to the season.

The Toffees, who finished seventh in the Premier League last season, are in the relegation zone at the moment.

The Merseyside outfit are also struggling in the Europa League and may not get out of their group.

Former Sky Sports presenter Keys has suggested Burnley manager Dyche for Everton.

Sean Dyche, Manager of Burnley reacts during the Premier League match between Everton and Burnley at Goodison Park on October 1, 2017 in Liverpool, England.

Keys wrote on his website: “Wait a minute, didn’t Hughes play for Everton? Just a thought on a shocking weekend for Miseryside. No. Hughes won’t get it – I really hope Sean Dyche does.

“Dyche deserves a crack at a bigger club than Burnley. He inspires men. He improves players. He’s done an unbelievable job at Burnley and should be trusted to take the next step now.

“He’s British as well and what’s wrong with that? After a succession of foreign failures – with more to come – let’s give our boys a chance again.”

Dyche is one of the best managers around and has done a truly remarkable job at Burnley.

The Clarets are not a fashionable football club and do not have a huge budget, but they are in the Premier League.

The 46-year-old have made Burnley good enough to at least compete in the top flight of English football.

Everton have better players and a bigger budget, and Dyche will surely be able to do great things at Goodison Park if given the chance.
