Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to be interested in signing Everton midfielder Ross Barkley this summer.
Richard Keys has written on his own personal blog that he has been told Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Everton’s Ross Barkley has cooled.
Barkley’s representatives have apparently met with Tottenham in London recently.
However, after the dialogue, Spurs are said to be less keen on the Everton midfielder.

Keys said: “Daniel Levy has had Ross Barkley ear-marked as a replacement [for Christian Eriksen] for some time now, but after a recent meeting with Barkley’s representatives in London I’m told Spurs aren’t as convinced as they were. Watch this space…..”
Spurs’ interest in Barkley has been widely reported (London Evening Standard), ahead of the summer transfer window.
Barkley’s contract at Everton is due to expire at the end of next season, and Tottenham are keen to take advantage of the situation.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side reportedly believe that Barkley could be available for a cut-price this summer.
However, if Tottenham’s interest has dropped, it could leave Barkley in an awkward situation.
Barkley has been given until the end of this week to commit his future to Everton by Ronald Koeman, otherwise it has been confirmed that he will be leaving Goodison Park in the coming weeks.
