Ibrox outfit Glasgow Rangers are reportedly looking to appoint Pedro Caixinha as the new manager.

Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho (R) is interviewed by Sky Sports' Richard Keys during the Hall of Fame Dinner

Rangers are on the hunt for a new manager at the moment following the departure of Mark Warburton last month. Rangers and Warburton parted company following a run of poor results in the Scottish Premiership.

According to The Scottish Sun, the Glasgow giants want to appoint Pedro Caixinha was their new boss. Caixinha is in charge of Al-Gharafa at the moment.

Well-known sports presenter Richard Keys has taken to Twitter to have his say on Portuguese boss Caixinha.

Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 46 points from 27 matches.

The Gers are six points behind second-placed Aberdeen, and as many as 33 points behind Old Firm rivals and leaders Celtic.

Caixinha is a very experienced manager and knows the game well, but it would still be a risk for Rangers to put him in charge of the first team.

What the Ibrox outfit should take into account is that Caixinha would need time to understand and know the squad he would inherit, and they should put him under extra pressure.
