And then Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah made it 2-0 on 36 minutes.
While Salah saw his penalty initially saved, the former Chelsea player made no mistake from the rebound.
Former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys has an issue with the penalty call.
The BeIN SPORT presenter does not think that Liverpool should have been awarded the penalty.

The Reds were given the spot kick after midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai was adjudged to have been brought down.
Keys has also said that Liverpool and Argentina international midfielder Alexis Mac Allister should not have been sent off in the second half.
Mac Allister, who joined Liverpool from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window, was shown a straight red card on 58 minutes.
The midfielder was adjudged to have made a high tackle on Ryan Christie.
