The Whites boss has reportedly courted the attention of the Hammers hierarchy in recent weeks.
Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho (R) is interviewed by Sky Sports’ Richard Keys during the Hall of Fame Dinner
Television host Richard Keys has stated on Twitter that he believes Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic will be managing in the Premier League next season – either with Fulham or West Ham United.
Jokanovic has transformed Fulham’s Championship fortunes and currently has the Whites sitting in sixth place this season having lost just 10 of their 43 fixtures, wowing neutrals in the process with an eye catching style of play at Craven Cottage.
Sky Sports recently claimed that Jokanovic was West Ham’s first choice if they decide to sack Slavan Bilic, who has largely struggled this campaign with the Hammers in 13th, nine points above the drop zone, despite finishing seventh last season.
Keys, formerly of Sky Sports and now working for beIN Sports, has now taken to his Twitter account to have his unprompted say on the situation, and fully believes that Jokanovic will be a Premier League manager next season – be that with Fulham or West Ham.
Jokanovic has just signed a new deal at Craven Cottage until 2019, as reports BBC Sport, and has brought through a number of younger players at the club, including Moussa Dembele – now at Celtic – and Ryan Sessengnon.
Whether Jokanovic would even want to leave Fulham for West Ham remains to be seen, despite the lure of Premier League football, but it certainly seems as if Bilic’s days as Hammers boss are numbered.
