Leeds United and Derby County were involved in yet another drama-filled game at Elland Road over the weekend.

Richard Keogh has honestly stated that there’s ‘no denying’ Leeds United’s qualities after they recorded a 1-1 draw with Derby County over the weekend.
Centre-back Keogh played the full match as his side left it late to snatch a point at Elland Road, with Chris Martin being the hero on the day for the away team.
Leeds had a big opportunity to wrap up all the points in the second-half with Klich missing a penalty when his team were leading 1-0.
Speaking to Sky Sports Football (21/09/2019 at 2:30 pm), Keogh admitted that Klich’s penalty miss gave them a boost as he praised Leeds’ style of play.
“They are a good team,” Keogh told Sky Sports. “There is no denying it. We know they are a good team. They play good football. They play with high energy.
“When we beat their press, I felt we could have put a bit more pressure on them, but they had the opportunity with the penalty and missed it. I think that gave us confidence.”

The defeat is no doubt more damaging for Leeds even though they are still top of the Championship table after eight games.
But one thing that the Elland Road faithful will talk about is their lack of ability to kill off games when they are dominant or have a chance such as the penalty to secure all three points.
At this moment in time, it will be seen in a negative light, but over the course of this campaign, they have a great chance to prove that they can learn from that weakness.
