Glasgow Rangers legend Richard Gough has given the Gers’ pursuit of Norwich City’s Graham Dorrans his approval.

Richard Gough has suggested that Graham Dorrans is exactly the kind of player that Rangers should be targeting this summer, and insisted that signing the Norwich midfielder would be a great move, The Scottish Sun reports.
The Scottish Sun reports that Dorrans is expected to leave Carrow Road this summer and is now in talks with the Gers about a potential switch.

And Gough – who led the Light Blues to nine consecutive league titles during his spell as a player at Ibrox, and handed the 30-year-old his professional debut when he was in charge at Livingston – has suggested that Pedro Caixinha would be doing a brilliant piece of business by bringing the Scotland international in during the coming months.
“He’s exactly the kind of player Rangers should be looking for,” he said, as reported by The Scottish Sun.
“It’s widely accepted that the club needs better players. They need guys who will lift the team and improve on what is there.

“If he’s a Rangers supporter then that helps, too.
“I really hope Pedro gets him, I think it would be a great move for everyone.”
It would arguably be a coup for the Gers to sign Dorrans this summer, as he has shown during his season in the Championship that he can still make an excellent contribution, having scored six times from a holding midfield role in just 23 league appearances for the Canaries this past term.
And with Dorrans being a boyhood Rangers fans (via The Scottish Sun), if he was to join, there could never be any doubt as to how determined he would be to succeed at Ibrox and how motivated he would be to ensure that he helps the Gers push back towards the summit in the Scottish Premiership.
