Leeds United have played out a 2-2 draw with Reading away from home at the Madejski Stadium in the Championship this afternoon.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson put Reading in the lead in the 16th minute, and Pontus Jansson restored parity for the visiting team on 43 minutes.

Pablo Hernandez put the West Yorkshire outfit in the lead on 56 minutes, only for Eunan O’Kane to score an own goal just two minutes later.

Richard Cresswell was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and the former Leeds striker gave his opinion on the performance of Paul Heckingbottom’s side at full time.

Cresswell told BBC Radio Leeds at full time (4:57pm, Saturday, March 10, 2018): “The positives included the two goals and Bailey Peacock-Farrell making some excellent saves in the first half to keep them in the game. It could have gone either way.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday afternoon, hosts Reading had 51% of the possession, took 10 shots of which four were on target, and earned 13 corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Leeds had 49% of the possession, took 19 shots of which eight were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.

The draw with Reading has pretty much extinguished Leeds’s chances of finishing in the top six of the Championship this season.
