Rich Paul encouraged Dillon Brooks to antagonize his client, LeBron James, even more!

The rivalry between LeBron James and Dillon Brooks was revived this year, as the two players have gotten under each other’s skins over their last two games against each other.

Both James and Brooks have gotten some wins since this feud reignited. But James’ agent, Rich Paul, wants to see Brooks go at the King even more.

Rich Paul wants to see Dillon Brooks push back against LeBron James

Rich Paul spoke on his podcast with Max Kellerman about the recent scuffles between LeBron James and Dillon Brooks.

Rather than try to chastise Brooks, Paul encouraged the Suns star to try and compete with LeBron James, while dialing down his intensity so he doesn’t get reprimanded by the officials.

“At the end of the day, poke the bear! I want that… I enjoy the competition of it all… For LeBron, in his case, he is in year 23. There’s nothing he hasn’t seen.”

Brooks is perhaps the first player since Lance Stephenson to get an aggressive and animated reaction out of LeBron James.

While the two players aren’t on the same level in terms of talent, Brooks’ ability to get under James’ skin makes this a notable rivalry in the NBA.

Dillon Brooks might be LeBron James’ greatest antagonist

Over the years, there have been a lot of players who have managed to get a rise out of LeBron James and get him out of sorts.

Both Joakim Noah and Lance Stephenson made a name for themselves in the NBA by antagonizing LeBron James.

But there’s something about Dillon Brooks and how he plays against LeBron James that just seems to unnerve the legendary superstar.

While Brooks is nowhere near James’ greatest rival in the NBA, the defensive pest might be his greatest antagonist of all time.
