Leeds gloating over Norwich seems like a long time ago.
Norwich City’s promotion to the Premier League was confirmed this weekend.
The Canaries’ place was secured, along with Sheffield United, with Leeds United missing out and facing having to go through the play-offs.
It is a long time since Leeds turned Norwich over at Carrow Road back in August, winning 3-0.
Goals from Mateusz Klich, Samu Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski saw to a one sided victory.
After that game Leeds had mocked Norwich on social media, after their plan to intimidate them with a pink dressing room backfired.
Eight months on and nobody at Leeds is amused any longer.
As Norfolk’s own Alan Partridge might say, ‘Needless to say, I had the last laugh’.
