Mohamed Salah took to Twitter yesterday following Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Sunday.

The 29-year-old winger was one of the stars on the day as Salah scored a contender for goal of the season. It was an entertaining clash at Anfield as City came from behind twice to clinch a point against Liverpool.

Indeed, it was a brilliant encounter between two sides who will no doubt be fighting for the Premier League title until the very end of the season. And Salah took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the match.

The ex-AS Roma star has been in blistering form this season with Salah hitting nine goals in all competitions already this campaign. And the attacker sent a stern message to Liverpool’s Premier League rivals.

Salah posted on his official Twitter account: “We really wanted to win this one but we’re still in the game. We’re going for the title and we have what it takes.”

With Liverpool sitting second in the table and impressing against the likes of City and Chelsea, there’s a strong chance the Reds could win only their second Premier League title.
