It looks as though Frank Lampard is on his way out of Chelsea this summer.
This time last year it was being heavily rumoured that Chelsea were on the brink of letting Frank Lampard go.
But his good form convinced the board to keep him and he received a one-year extension to his deal at the club.
However this time around England’s vice captain does not look like being so lucky. Today saw the official release of the Premier League released and retained lists. This document shows the players from each 20 Premier League clubs in the 2013-14 season that the club wishes to retain, have made an offer to or are prepared to release.
And this is how Chelsea’s released list looks this summer.

Some big names there such as Samuel Eto’o, Ashley Cole, Mark Schwarzer and as you can see, six names down, the club’s record goalscorer Frank Lampard.
Of course these lists are not set in stone, but it does show that right now Lampard has no offer on the table and in all likelihood, the club legend will not be at Chelsea at the start of next season.
