Marcus Rashford has been the poster boy for Manchester United since his breakout season in 2016, yet the England international could now be on the move from his boyhood club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 24-year-old attacker is considering his future with the Red Devils, with Rashford worried over his lack of playing time for United under Ralf Rangnick as well as his regressive form.
The winger has bagged just five goals in all competitions this season, with Rashford losing his spot in the starting XI to United’s latest youth sensation Anthony Elanga, who has starred in recent weeks.
Whilst the realistic likelihood of Rashford leaving United remains low, where could be a realistic destination for the Premier League superstar should the unlikely happen and the England star departs Manchester?
Newcastle United

Let’s just start with the most obvious candidate. Newcastle United have money and look likely to go big on a new attacker in the summer if reports are to be believed, and who better to sign than United’s wantaway superstar striker Rashford.
The 24-year-old will bring a quality to the attack that Newcastle have not seen in years, and whilst Callum Wilson and Chris Wood will likely lead the frontline, Rashford’s versatility in the attack makes him an ideal signing for Eddie Howe’s side.
It would no doubt be a club-record signing for Newcastle, yet given Rashford’s Premier League record as well as his achievements off the pitch, the forward could be the Toon’s first luxury signing under the PIF regime.
Borussia Dortmund
Moving to Europe has never been more fashionable for English players, with Jadon Sancho the standout player to have dominated on the continent. And for Rashford, the United star could flourish at the club his new teammate made a name for himself.
Borussia Dortmund will be desperate to sign a new striker this summer with Erling Haaland all but certain to leave in the transfer window, and with the Bundesliga side set to earn a sweet payday for the move, Rashford could become an affordable option.
Rashford’s skillset of pace, strength and lethal finishing could see the attacker revive his career in Germany, where English talents in recent years have succeeded beyond anything supporters back home could have predicted.
Chelsea

Given Rashford’s record for United, a move to a top-six side isn’t out of the question for the England international, and with Chelsea once again struggling to find goals in a marquee signing from Romelu Lukaku, the Red Devils star could be an option to fix this problem.
Indeed, Rashford has hit double digits in every season since becoming a member of United’s first-team, and for a club like Chelsea who rely on every play contributing to goals, having a new talisman could be ideal for the Blues.
With Thomas Tuchel also a coach who could get the best out of Rashford, a move to Chelsea might not be as farfetched as one could think, especially given the transfer history between the reigning UEFA Champions League holders and United in the past.
