Napoli are said to be considering a sale at a lower price than in the summer.
Reports in Italy have updated the situation regarding Everton’s interest in Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
It has been reported by Corriere dello Sport that Everton have begun discussing a deal with Napoli yet again as they look to secure the signature of the talented forward.
Manolo Gabbiadini
The report claims that Everton have offered Napoli around €20 million for the player (£16.8 million), which is around €10 million less than what they offered for him in the summer.
However, the report claims Napoli are considering the new offer – despite it undercutting their previous asking price.
Gabbiadini has not been in good form this season and the club are on the verge of signing Leonardo Pavoletti from Genoa – so a sale is in their better interests at that price.
Manolo Gabbiadini
Everton are currently lacking in attack. Romelu Lukaku is the star striker at Goodison Park but when he is absent they struggle for goals and a top-quality back-up is certainly something Everton need to bring in as soon as possible.
It would appear that Koeman feels Gabbiadini might be that man.
