West Ham United goalkeeper Darren Randolph has impressed through his performances for the Republic of Ireland.

Republic of Ireland supporters have praised West Ham United stopper Darren Randolph for his display in their match against France earlier today.
Randolph was selected to start in all of Ireland’s matches at Euro 2016, but he arguably saved his best display until last.
The West Ham goalkeeper pulled off some wonderful saves, but he was unable to stop Ireland from going out of the tournament.

Martin O’Neill’s side had taken the led in the second minute when Robbie Brady scored from the spot, but they were unable to hold on.
Antoine Greizmann scored twice in the second-half to help France on their way to a victory which delighted the home crowd.
France’s win could have been by a heavy margin if it wasn’t for Randolph’s performance, but he kept his nation in the contest.

At the start of the tournament, there were suggestions that Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Kieran Westwood should have been first choice, but Randolph appears to have won over the Irish fans through his performances.
Here is the best reaction to his latest display against France on Twitter.
