The representative of Watford’s Isaac Success, Douglas Idahosa, has told All Nigeria Soccer that West Ham United are interested in signing the forward.

Success, 21, made his name in Spain with Granada, hitting six goals in 30 league games last season to earn his big move to the Premier League with Watford.

The Nigerian international, who has one senior cap for his country, was seen as an exciting addition for Watford, but he has endured a frustrating season with the Hornets.

Success, who can play up front or out wide, started just two Premier League games this season, making 17 substitute appearances as he was only able to register one goal and one assist.

With limited playing time under Walter Mazzarri, Success may be buoyed by the departure of the Italian manager, but there appears to be mounting interest in his signature.

West Ham United are in the market for at least one attacker this summer, with Success’ versatility – as well as his undeniable pace and power – possibly appealing to Hammers boss Slaven Bilic.

Now, Douglas Idahosa – the representative of Success – has told All Nigeria Soccer that West Ham are indeed interested in raiding Watford to sign Success during this summer’s transfer window.

Idahosa added that Success will leave Vicarage Road this summer if he isn’t promised first-team football by the club’s new manager, whoever that may be.

”It is true that West Ham are interested in signing Isaac Success,” said Idahosa. “If he is not promised first team opportunities he will move before the window closes,” he added.
