Norwich City have struggled of late, following a promising start to their Championship campaign.
The Canaries are considering a January bid for Brentford striker Scott Hogan, according to the Scottish Sun.
Alex Neil’s men have embarked on a worrying run of late, and currently sit in eighth position in the Championship table, having not won a match since October 15th.
Brentford’s Scott Hogan in action
Norwich have been particularly poor in their last five games, managing to score just three goals whilst conceding 12.
And the Scottish Sun claim that the under-fire Canaries boss has identified the signing of a new striker as a matter of priority in January, and is preparing an £8 million bid for Brentford’s 24-year-old marksman.
Norwich’s highest goalscorer so far this season is Cameron Jerome, who has found the back of the net six times in the Championship, and that will most certainly be an area that the East Anglian outfit need to improve upon if they are to mount a sustained challenge for promotion.

Hogan moved to Griffin Park from Rochdale in 2014, for a fee believed to be in the region of £750,000, and has gone on to score 18 goals in 26 league outings for the Bees.
Could he be the man to help fire Norwich back onto play-off contention?
