West Ham United have reportedly had a bid accepted for Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass and are interested in Brentford’s Scott Hogan.
A report from ESPN has claimed that West Ham’s hopes of landing Robert Snodgrass could ultimately depend on whether the Hammers manage to get Dimitri Payet off their books this month, while the Daily Star suggest that Scott Hogan’s move is also on hold for the same reason.
According to ESPN, the Irons are one of three teams edging towards the finishing line in the race to sign the Hull City man, having matched the £10 million bid that Burnley initially put in while Middlesbrough also made the same offer.

But ESPN adds that Snodgrass would ideally prefer to make the switch to the London Stadium but plans to hold talks with all three interested clubs before making a final decision.
However, while West Ham appear to be in pole position – provided that talks go to plan – there could be a twist in the tale, and it is a similar story in the club’s pursuit of Brentford striker Hogan.
The Star reports that the Premier League side have agreed a £12 million deal for the forward, but both the Star and ESPN suggest that the Hammers having the funds to complete both deals is dependant on whether they manage to sell Payet, which is appearing to be a difficult task.
Brentford’s Scott Hogan
A recent report from the Mirror suggested that West Ham want £35 million for the Frenchman, which is £7 million more than Marseille are willing to pay for their former star, and now a loan deal is being discussed.
However, should Payet leave on loan, Slaven Bilic will seemingly have neither Snodgrass or Hogan available to him this season as both ESPN and the Star believe that the funds to complete those moves will not be available if Payet does not leave permanently.
