West Ham United have reportedly agreed to sell striker Enner Valencia.

According to The Mirror, West Ham United have agreed to sell striker Enner Valencia to Mexican side Tigres – and The Mirror also claim that Burnley fear the Hammers will sign Andre Gray to boost their attack.

Valencia, 27, was a big-money signing for West Ham in 2014 following his performances at the World Cup in Brazil, having scored all three of Ecuador’s goals in the competition.

A versatile forward with pace, Valencia failed to live up to his billing in East London, scoring just ten goals in 66 games for the Hammers before being loaned out to Everton last summer.

Valencia scored just three times in 23 games for the Toffees before returning to West Ham, but The Mirror now claim that he has been sold to Mexican outfit Tigres after weeks of negotiations.

Valencia has excelled in Mexico before, smashing 18 goals in 25 games for Pachuca, and West Ham’s attacking overhaul – which has already seen Jonathan Calleri and Gokhan Tore leave the club – looks set to continue with Valencia’s exit.

Slaven Bilic is now in the market for two strikers, and The Mirror also report that Burnley are fearing that West Ham will now sign Andre Gray from the Clarets.

The 26-year-old striker hit 23 goals for Burnley as they won promotion to the Premier League in 2016, and he followed that up with nine goals in the top flight last term.

With Gray out of contract in 2018, Burnley may be forced to sell the striker this summer, and they allegedly fear that they will lose Gray to West Ham, given that they could offer up £15million to sign him.
