Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly still pushing for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur have failed with a £25million bid for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, with The Sun claiming that Joshua Onomah was included in the offer.
Spurs have yet to make a single signing this summer and remain the only Premier League club yet to dip into the transfer market, with fans left frustrated at the lack of activity.
Tottenham now head into the final hours of the transfer window desperate for signings, and look no closer to signing top target Jack Grealish following Aston Villa’s new-found investment from Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens.
Now, Sky Sports report that Tottenham have failed with a £25million bid for Grealish, with Villa adamant that their star playmaker won’t be sold before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
Intriguingly, The Sun claim that Tottenham’s £25million offer also included midfielder Joshua Onomah, though it’s unclear whether that would be on loan or in a permanent move.
Grealish now looks set to stay at Villa Park barring a late change of heart, and leaves Spurs scrambling for signings as they are left with the very real possibility of ending the window with no new faces.

Grealish, 22, hit three goals and six assists for Villa last season in an impressive campaign, with the midfielder really coming into his own in the second half of the season, but he couldn’t help Villa win promotion to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Onomah spent last season on loan at Villa Park and hit four goals and four assists, yet Villa seemingly aren’t keen on him returning to the club in a deal for Grealish, if the reports today are to be believed.
