According to the Daily Mail, Swansea City defender Joe Rodon is expected to join Tottenham Hotspur despite interest from Premier League clubs.
The Sun claim that Leicester City want to sign Rodon, but wants former club Swansea to wait until January in order to sell the defender.
Their report claims that Swansea want big money, because they just saw Norwich City sell Ben Godfrey to Everton and now want similar money.
Leicester appear to be a threat, but the Mail claim that Spurs are expected to complete a move for Rodon this week, having initially failed with a bid last Monday.
It’s stated that Spurs offered £8million and Swansea want £18million, but a £13million compromise is now expected, with Cameron Carter-Vickers going out on loan.
That would be an impressive deal for Spurs, adding the final piece of Jose Mourinho’s jigsaw, given that Spurs need a centre back having lost Jan Vertonghen over the summer.

Rodon, 22, is not only big and strong at 6ft 4in tall, but also adept on the ball having played out from the back under Steve Cooper last season.
The Welsh international looks to have huge potential, and whilst he isn’t a big-name capture, he is a player that Mourinho can mould and turn into a star without breaking the bank.
