Lyon reportedly want a huge £70million for midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

According to the Daily Star, Lyon have slapped a £70million asking price on midfielder Tanguy Ndombele as Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked.
Ndombele, 21, spent last season on loan at Lyon from Amiens, and his superb displays saw him become one of the top young midfielders in Europe, prompting Lyon to sign him permanently.
The Frenchman is yet to win a senior cap for his country, but he has been attracting admirers from Europe’s elite, with his stay at Lyon not expected to be a lengthy one.
Now, the Daily Star report that Manchester City are particularly keen on Ndombele, which is no huge surprise given how he starred in the recent Champions League meeting between the two sides.
However, it’s noted that Lyon have slapped a huge £70million asking price on Ndombele’s head, meaning City would have to break their transfer record to land him.
The report may also be of interest to Tottenham Hotspur, as Telefoot in France recently claimed that Spurs did make a bid for Ndombele this summer, but it was rejected.

It’s even stated that boss Mauricio Pochettino remains keen on a potential move for Ndombele in 2019, with Spurs looking for a box-to-box midfielder to replace Mousa Dembele.
That fee may be a major problem for Spurs though, who are far from big spenders under Daniel Levy, and it may just price Pochettino out of landing one of his top targets if true.
