According to The Telegraph, West Bromwich Albion are plotting a late swoop for Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa – but The Mirror claim Sunderland are eyeing up a similar move.
The Baggies smashed their transfer record on Monday by snapping up winger Nacer Chadli from Tottenham Hotspur, and many Tony Pulis will be keen to add more new faces before tonight’s transfer deadline.

The Argentine striker signed for Leicester from Brighton and Hove Albion back in the summer of 2014, and after hitting 13 goals in his first season for the Foxes, he contributed six goals last term as Leicester won the Premier League.
Now behind Jamie Vardy, Shinji Okazaki and new signing Ahmed Musa in Claudio Ranieri’s pecking order, Ulloa may be pushed ever further down by the potential signing of Islam Slimani – but West Brom aren’t the only club keen.

The Mirror report that Sunderland are also weighing up a late move to sign Ulloa, with David Moyes keen to land a centre forward to partner Jermain Defoe in attack.
The 30-year-old appears to have plenty of options, but whether either Sunderland or West Brom can agree deals with Leicester before tonight’s 11pm deadline remains to be seen.
