West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has had to endure heavy criticism of late.
Reports emanating from Germany today suggest that Bundesliga 2 side 1860 Munich have contacted Hammers boss Slaven Bilic over the possibility of him becoming their new manager, according to German media outlet TZ.
West Ham have struggled this season under the guidance of the Croatian, and currently sit in 16th position in the Premier League table, in what has been a starkly contrasting campaign to last season, where the Hammers finished in seventh spot.

And now TZ are reporting that 1860 Munich, who are currently competing in the second tier of German football, have put Bilic at the top of their list of prospective new managers, after sacking Kosta Runjaic last month.
The report claims that other potential candidates include former Chelsea and Aston Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo, and another former Hammers manager Avram Grant.

Persuading Bilic to leave the Premier League seems unlikely, however, and the Croatian’s contract with the Londoners does not expire until the summer of 2018.
Much will depend on whether he can actually keep his job at West Ham, and one would imagine that his side’s results will have to drastically improve if he is to do just that.
