The Napoli striker has been linked with a £30 million Everton move.
Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic
Reports are suggesting that Everton might finally be on the verge of bringing in Manolo Gabbiadini from Napoli.
The Italian has emerged as the club’s number one striker target with Lucas Perez now looking set for a move to Arsenal.
It is reported by the Daily Mail that Everton are chasing the striker, who has been valued at around £30 million by the Partenopei.
Manolo Gabbiadini
But the future of the player appears to hinge on where a Premier League flop heads.
Reports in Italy, including from AlfredoPedulla, are suggesting that Fiorentina also want Gabbiadini and are willing to offer Nikola Kalinic as part of any deal.

Kalinic has of course played in the Premier League.
Then Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce snapped up Kalinic for a fee reported by The Sun to have been in the region of £6 million back in August 2009.
In his two seasons in Lancashire he scored just 13 goals in 53 appearances and moved to Dnipro Dniproprovetsk in 2011.
Manolo Gabbiadini
He has certainly improved since then and had a good season with Fiorentina last term.
The reports claim that Napoli want Kalinic regardless. If they swap Gabbiadini with Fiorentina then Everton will end up empty-handed again. If not, they still intend to sign Kalinic with the money they make from an Everton sale.
So it certainly appears that the future of a Premier League flop is proving pivotal to Everton’s striker hunt.
