According to the Daily Mail, Hull City have offered £8m plus add-ons for Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason – but Spurs want at least £10m for the player, whilst The Mirror claim Southampton are also keen.
Mason, 25, has come up through the ranks at White Hart Lane, but few expected him to make the grade with his boyhood club after loan spells with Yeovil Town, Doncaster Rovers, Milwall, Lorient and Swindon Town.

However, Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment as manager in 2014 handed Mason the chance to impress, and he certainly took it, becoming a first-team regular during the 2014/15 campaign with 37 appearances in all competitions.
Almost 18 months ago, Mason won his first and only England call-up – but now, he could be on the verge of leaving Tottenham having fallen down the pecking order last season and with the arrival of midfielder Victor Wanyama this summer.

The Daily Mail report that Hull City have made a bid of £8m plus add-ons for Mason, with caretaker boss Mike Phelan hoping to add bodies to a thin squad ahead of the transfer deadline in a week’s time.
A move to the KCOM Stadium would hand Mason a reunion with former Spurs team-mates Michael Dawson, Jake Livermore and Tom Huddlestone, whilst presentg him with all-but guaranteed first-team football.

However, Spurs are believed to have valued Mason at over £10m, meaning Hull could miss out on the player – especially with other Premier League teams believed to be interested.
The Mirror claim that Crystal Palace and Southampton have also shown an interest in signing Mason, with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy no doubt hoping that a bidding war starts between three of their Premier League rivals.
