Leeds United are set to appoint Sam Allardyce as their new manager with Robbie Keane following him.
That is according to claims from The Times’ Matt Lawton and TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook.
Javi Gracia is on his way out of Leeds and Allardyce will be coming in to try and save Leeds.
This is a shock move from the Whites, who have just four games left to save their Premier League status.
Allardyce isn’t coming alone though and former Oxford United boss Karl Robinson is expected to join the coaching staff.
Allardyce and Robinson worked together at Blackburn Rovers and will now reunite at Leeds.
Keane will now join too as he looks to further his coaching career with a return to Elland Road.
Keane joined Leeds as a player back in 2001, initially on loan before turning his switch from Inter Milan permanent for £12million.
The Irishman only played 56 games for Leeds but did score 19 goals before joining Tottenham Hotspur.
Keane and Allardyce missed each other by a matter of weeks at West Ham United in 2011 but were involved in the 2018 edition of Soccer Aid.

Robbie Keane wants to be a manager
Keane has already had a stint as a manager, taking charge of Indian side ATK in 2018.
That only lasted for three games though and Keane has been interested in pursuing this career path.
The 42-year-old became Ireland’s assistant manager in 2018 and then took on a similar role with Middlesbrough in 2019.
Keane left both roles in 2020 and has since been working as a pundit for Sky Sports.
Keane was under consideration for the Portsmouth job in January but missed out to John Mousinho.
More than 20 years since leaving Leeds, Keane will now make his coaching return with the Whites in an emotional comeback.
