Leeds United reportedly want to sign Alvaro Negredo from Valencia in the summer transfer window.
Leeds United have one of the best strikers in the Championship in Chris Wood, but the Whites could do with bringing in another player for that position.
Wood was the star for Leeds last season, as the New Zealand international scored as many as 27 goals in 44 Championship appearances for the West Yorkshire outfit.
The 25-year-old striker could repeat his heroics next season, but the Whites do need to have an able back-up in case he gets injured or has a dip in form.

Alvaro Negredo would be a stunning signing for Leeds. The 31-year-old is a very good striker, and not only would he be an able back-up to Wood, but he could actually also push the former West Bromwich Albion man for a place in the starting lineup.
Leeds have been linked with a move for Negredo in the summer transfer window. According to The Mirror, the Whites want to sign the striker from Valencia.

The striker was earning £100,000 per week as salary during his loan spell at Middlesbrough last season, according to The Times, and it would not be possible for Leeds to pay him that much.
