Everton are reportedly keen on Ajax hitman Kasper Dolberg.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton are aware that they must break their club record transfer fee to sign Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg – and The Express claim that manager Ronald Koeman is willing to make an exception to his strategy in order to sign him.
Dolberg, 19, joined Ajax from Silkeborg in his native Denmark back in 2015, and he now looks set to become the latest superstar talent to rise to stardom from the Ajax academy.
The Danish international striker – who has already won his first senior cap – has enjoyed a remarkable season in the Ajax first team, hitting 14 goals and six assists in 27 Eredivisie games, whilst his European record has been impressive too.
Tonight’s goal in the 4-1 Europa League semi-final win over Lyon takes Dolberg to five goals in 11 Europa League outings, and that was also his 20th goal of the season in all competitions this season.

Dolberg looks set for a huge move in the near future, and the Liverpool Echo report that Everton are interested in signing him – but are aware that they will have to break their transfer record to sign him, set at £30m with the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea in 2014 (Transfermarkt).
In fact, The Express claim that whilst Koeman is looking to land more experienced players, he is prepared to make an exception in order to land Dolberg, calling upon his strong links with Ajax – a club he both played for and manager – to strike a deal.

With question marks over Lukaku’s future, Everton will be looking to sign a striker whether the Belgian leaves or not, and a top young talent such as Dolberg is the type of player that Everton fans wanted when Farhad Moshiri invested in the club.
His performance against Lyon this evening may increase interest in his signature, but Koeman will be hoping that the Toffees can pull off a major coup by landing Dolberg this summer.
