RB Leipzig striker Hwang Hee-chan is one of the top priorities for Wolverhampton Wanderers before the transfer deadline.
That’s according to The Express and Star, who claim that Hwang could end up at Molineux before the window slams shut.
Bild add that a deal is almost done and Hwang is ‘about to move’ to Wolverhampton, whilst John Percy claimed on Twitter that a medical is scheduled for Sunday.
It’s all pointing to Hwang being on his way to Molineux after plenty of rumours throughout the summer about a deal.
Hwang, 25, joined RB Leipzig from sister side Red Bull Salzburg last summer, having hit 45 goals in 126 games for the Austrian side.
Goals were hard to come by last season though, as he failed to find the net even once in 18 Bundesliga outings.
He did manage three goals in the cup, but Leipzig seem to have accepted that their striking recruitment last summer just wasn’t good enough with Alexander Sorloth and now Hwang heading out.

The South Korean possesses bags of pace, offering a different option to Raul Jimenez in attack whilst also easing the pressure on teenager Fabio Silva.
Erling Haaland is a huge fan of Hwang, branding him ‘absolutely crazy’ and ‘brilliant’ during their time together at Red Bull Salzburg.
Wolves will now hope that Hwang can bring that kind of quality to Molineux, with a loan move seemingly close to being completed.
