Everton continue to be linked with winger Wilfried Zaha.

According to The Mirror, Everton’s board want to pay £60million for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha over five years – and the move is subsequently in a stalemate.
Zaha, 26, has become a top target for Everton having developed into a star wide man at Selhurst Park, hitting 10 goals and five assists last season.
The Ivorian international has been heavily linked with Arsenal, but Everton are now attempting to swoop in and get a deal done – but their payment plan doesn’t appear to have impressed Palace.
It’s stated that the Everton board want to stagger payments over five years, easing the impact on their immediate budget after Palace demanded £60million, rejecting their £50million bid.
Palace want a bigger chunk of the fee up front, meaning the move is now at a stalemate as the two clubs attempt to thrash out a deal.
Sky Sports claim that Zaha is willing to make the move back up north for Everton despite flopping at Manchester United in the past, and that will at least give the Toffees hope of a deal.

Yet with a huge outlay needed, and more positions requiring some attention at Goodison Park, it may be difficult to give Palace the package they want and complete the rest of their business this summer.
It would be a major signal of intent if Everton can sign Zaha, but for now, the two teams are way too far apart, and his options are narrowing with Arsenal set to sign his international teammate Nicolas Pepe instead.
