Tottenham Hotspur are chasing a late deal for Paulo Dybala.

According to The Independent, Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is more interested in a move to Tottenham Hotspur than he ever was with Manchester United – but The Guardian note that Mauricio Pochettino thinks a deal will be difficult to pull off.
With question marks over Christian Eriksen’s future, Tottenham are in the market for a new number 10, and four main names appear to be in the frame ahead of deadline day.
Giovani Lo Celso, Bruno Fernandes and – remarkably – Philippe Coutinho are three of those, and Dybala is somehow back in the mix too, after links from last month went a little quiet.
Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio claimed on Tuesday evening that Spurs had agreed a €70million (£64.5million) fee with Juventus for Dybala, with personal terms needed to be finalised.
Now, it’s claimed that Dybala is more interested in a move to Spurs than he was in a move to Manchester United earlier this month, which should give Tottenham hope of somehow forcing through a move before the deadline.
Yet with more reports claiming that Pochettino thinks a deal will be ‘very difficult’ to complete with just over 24 hours of the transfer window to go, it seems to be 50/50 on whether Dybala ends up at Spurs.

The 25-year-old disappointed last season with just five goals and four assists in Serie A, but his role was heavily modified by the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. In his last season before Ronaldo’s arrival in Turin, Dybala smashed 22 goals.
Pochettino will now all about his fellow Argentine, and signing him would be a second signal of intent after landing Ndombele – but with time against Spurs, this one really would be a quite remarkable capture if it can be pulled off.
