Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with Ryan Sessegnon.

According to The Express and The Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are expecting to secure the signature of Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon.
Spurs have allowed Danny Rose to stay off their tour of Asia in order to find a new club, which appears to be a clear nod towards signing a left back.
Mauricio Pochettino may now have some money to play with after the sale of Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid, and it’s a familiar name being linked at left back.
Two reports this weekend claim that Spurs are either ‘closing in’ or ‘expecting to sign’ Fulham teenager Sessegnon, ahead of major competition.
Strangely though, The Express note there are fears about the price, with Spurs willing to pay £25million and Fulham wanting more, but Spurs seemingly feel they can get a deal done.
Sessegnon has been coined as one of English football’s top young talents in recent years, and whilst he didn’t excel in the Premier League as many hoped, he still notched two goals and six assists for a dismal Fulham side.

The 19-year-old actually played just three games at left back last season, but his ability to play all the way up the left flank appears to be hugely appealing to Pochettino.
Landing Sessegnon would give Spurs an answer down the left for years to come, and their alleged confidence that a deal can be done would suggest that we may hear something more concrete in the coming days.
