According to Daily Record, Celtic fear that Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster has a move lined up elsewhere after a move back to Parkhead became unlikely.

The Bhoys took Forster on loan this past season and wanted him back again, but another loan won’t be happening – but they think Forster’s head has been turned by a long-term deal elsewhere.

Neil Lennon isn’t convinced Forster actually wants to re-join Celtic, and is looking at alternatives.

Talks with Joe Hart’s representatives are allegedly at an advanced stage, with the former England international potential in line to join Celtic after leaving Burnley for free.

The Scottish Sun claim that Hart is hoping to Lennon brings him to Celtic, whilst they also state that whilst Southampton want Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham, a swap deal has been ruled out.

Forster, 32, is a favourite at Parkhead, but seemingly isn’t coming back now. He initially left for Southampton in 2014, before returning to Celtic last summer in a season-long loan deal.

After struggling for playing time at Southampton, Forster got back to his best last season, and many thought he would want to stay put for good.

However, Forster seemingly isn’t keen on another loan move, and a permanent deal seems unlikely. As things stand, Celtic are moving on – and it looks like Hart could be a top target.
