According to Football.London, Arsenal may immediately loan out Omar Rekik to a Bundesliga club, but haven’t yet made a final decision.
The Daily Mail add that the Gunners will be paying £900,000 to sign Rekik from Hertha Berlin this week, with the deal possibly already done.
Some thought they spotted Rekik in an Under-23 training photo, but Arsenal have yet to officially confirm the move.
Football.London’s report suggests that Arsenal are actually keen on the idea of sending Rekik straight out on loan to a Bundesliga side.
No decision has been made just yet, but Rekik could end up back in Germany very quickly after leaving the country for England.
The report adds that Per Mertesacker has promised Rekik that he will be able to join in first-team training regularly once his deal goes through.

Rekik, 19, has yet to make his first-team debut for Hertha, but has previously been in the ranks of Feyenoord, Manchester City, PSV Eindhoven and Marseille, following brother Karim around.
He has already switched allegiance from the Netherlands to Tunisia, and it looks like he will become an Arsenal player very soon in a potentially exciting move.
